This popular animal, the grizzly bear, is now memorialized on a 1.5 troy oz silver coin from the Royal Canadian Mint. These 2017 dated coins, comprised of .9999 pure silver, have a face value of $8 and comes in plastic mint tubes of 15 coins per tube. The obverse features the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, while the reverse has the massive grizzly bear on a rocky ledge.
