$GLD and $SLV Prices as of July 6 2020 @moneymetals

July 6, 2020 – Gold and silver prices edged higher last week, a trend that continues today.

Silver managed a weekly close above $18.00 and gold is threatening $1,800/oz. The metals performed well despite renewed strength in the equity markets and rising bond yields.

Demand for physical coins, rounds, and bars also rose. The increased buying is likely to put a halt to falling premiums.

Supply of fabricated coins, rounds and smaller bars is tenuous, as sellers remain few and far between. Although Money Metals continues to be well stocked, wholesale delays have reemerged on a few popular products.
