July 29, 2019 -- Silver continued playing catch-up to gold last week, gaining about 1% while gold prices fell slightly.
As usual, the futures markets for gold and silver completely discounted the announcement of a budget deal in Washington.
There will be huge increases in spending on Republican-backed military programs and Democrat-favored social programs.
The cap on federal borrowing will be completely suspended until after the 2020 election.
