This bullion program preceded the Gold American Eagle program to compete with the Krugerrand. These medals were produced by the U.S. Mint for 5 years (1980-1984) and contain 1/2 ounce and 1 ounce of gold each. We have just less than 10 of both sizes available at 2% over melt value each.
