Students from over 140 schools, 39 states, and four countries have participated in our scholarship. Joe Shamp, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, has won the People's Choice Award, generating more online readers than the other finalists. Joe's win earns him an extra $500 in tuition assistance. We would like to give special thanks to our blue ribbon panel of judges. Students are excited to have their work read and graded by notable economists and champions of liberty and we are excited to unveil next year's group of judges.

Our third annual scholarship is open from January 1st, 2018 and runs until September 30th, 2018. We hope to see everyone submit an essay! Good luck and happy writing!
